 Na czym gra Satchel?

Każdy muzyk ma swój ulubiony sprzęt, więc dziś przyjmy się gratom, które posiada Satchel. Po pierwsze heady, w 2015 roku na Big Rundown grał na EVH 5150 III 100-Watt Tube Head. Widziano go również grającego na Marshallu JMC900, Peavey 5150 II oraz na Senheiser EW G3 Pro Wireless System.

W swoich sygnowanych gitarach często umieszcza przetworniki Seymour Duncan (SH-4 and SH-2N Jazz Model Humbacker). Poruszając temat gitar – tutaj jest całkiem sporo do powiedzenia. Głównie to gra na Charvelach, chociażby na swojej sygnaturze Charvel Pro-Mod DK w zielonej  i żółtej wersji kolorystycznej czy Kramerach Pacer Vintage w wersjach pomarańczowej i fioletowej. Posiada w swojej pokaźnej kolekcji też na pewno Gibsona J-200. W czasach przed Steel Panther korzystał też z gitar B.C. Rich (model VG-1) oraz Ibanez RG450DX. Struny to wybiera najczęściej D’Addario EXL120. Jeśli chodzi o footswitch to wybiera EVH 5150 III, a tuner Boss TU-3 Chromatic.

Efekty to kolejna sprawa, zacznijmy od tych ogólnie dostępnych, czyli multiefekt Atomic AMPS, MXR M169 Carbon Copy, Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion oraz tych sygnowanych przez Steel Panther: The Butthole Burner, Poontang Boomerang, Pussy Melter oraz najnowszy The Platinum Pocket Pussy Melter.

Satchel’s gear

Every musician has their favorite gear, so today let's look at some of the gear, that Satchel owns. First off, in 2015 he was seen playing an EVH 5150 III 100-Watt Tube head. He was also seen playing a Marshall JMC900, a Peavey 5150 II, and a Senheiser EW G3 Pro Wireless system.

When it comes to his signature guitars, he often uses Seymour Duncan pickups (SH-4 and SH-2N Jazz Model Humbacker). Regarding the remaining collection of guitars - there is plenty to say here. 

He usually plays Charvel guitars, such as his synature Charvel Pro-Mod DK in two different color versions: green and yellow or the orange and purple Kramer Pacer Vintage. He also definitely has a Gibson J-200 in his huge collection.

In his pre-Steel Panther days, he also used B.C. Rich guitars (model VG-1) and Ibanez RG450DX. As for string choice, he usually chooses D'Addario EXL120. For footswitches, his preference is EVH 5150 III, while his tuner of choice is the Boss TU-3 Chromatic.

Next comes effects, which is another matter altogether. Let's start with the ones that are widely available: Atomic AMPS multieffect, MXR M169 Carbon Copy, Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion, and the official Steel Panther brand: The Butthole Burner, Poontang Boomerang, Pussy Melter, and the latest The Platinum Pocket Pussy Melter.
