„British invasion” jest jednym z
dwóch wydań live, w wersji akustycznej mamy „Live at Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage”, a w
wersji z jajem znajdziecie właśnie wspomniane wcześniej „British Invasion”.
Koncert został zarejestrowany w 2012 roku podczas trasy po UK, w Brixton
Academy.
Show jest przygotowany
pieczołowicie: intro z „Balls out”, efekty pirotechniczne podczas „The Eyes Of The
Panther”. Oczywiście, nie obyłoby się bez obscenicznych ruchów oraz
niemoralnych, dłuższych przerywników na rozmowy pomiędzy członkami zespołu,
które są nieodłącznym elementem. Każdy, kto kiedykolwiek był na koncercie Steel
Panther wie, o czym piszę.
Z perspektywy czasu, gdy nie raz słyszałam, że ulubione płyty SP to są pierwsze trzy, to właśnie z nich znajdziecie tu numery, takie jak „Eating Ain’t Cheating” czy „Fat Girl”. Są tu praktycznie wszystkie najbardziej znane utwory wraz z romantycznymi „Community Property” i „Girl From Oklahoma”. Na „Stripper Girl” na scenie pojawiają się prawdziwe striptizerki, a Michael jest ciągnięty na rydwanie przez prawdziwe asian hookers. Pojawiają się również dmuchane lalki rodem z sex shopu czy słynny już shocker. Trochę brakuje dziewczyn na scenie czy tej wyjątkowej, jedynej na Weenie, ale na obecnych koncertach już raczej tej przyjemności zaznacie. Całość zamyka obowiązkowy „Death To All But Metal” \m/
To obowiązkowa pozycja dla prawdziwych fanów. Warto do tej płytki wracać, chociażby z powodu by popatrzeć na Lexxiego, którego widoku już nie zaznamy (Spyder jednak godnie go zastępuje!). Całość jest do obejrzenia na yt, ale tutaj macie dołączone dodatkowe materiały i zdecydowanie lepsza jakość dźwięku i obrazu. Nie zapominajmy o energii, która panowie mieli i nadal mają. Podsumowując, dobry show, ale trzymajcie go poza zasięgiem dzieci 😉!
“British Invasion" is one of two live releases, with the acoustic
version coming from "Live at Lexxi's Mom's Garage" and the electric
version featuring the aforementioned "British Invasion". The concert
was recorded in 2012 during a UK tour at the Brixton Academy.
The show is carefully prepared: an intro with "Balls Out",
pyrotechnic effects during "The Eyes Of The Panther". Of course, it
wouldn't be complete without spicy movements and cheesy, longer breaks for
conversations between band members, which are an integral part of the show.
Anyone, who's ever been to a Steel Panther concert knows what I'm talking
about.
From the perspective of time, having heard multiple times, that the first three SP albums are favorites, here you will find songs such as 'Eating Ain't Cheating' or 'Fat Girl'. Almost all the most well-known songs are here, including the romantic 'Community Property' and 'Girl From Oklahoma'. For 'Stripper Girl,' strippers appear on stage, and Michael’s carriage is pulled by genuine Asian hookers.
Inflatable sex dolls from the sex shop also appear, along with the famous shocker. There's a bit of a lack of girls on stage, or that exceptional one-of-the-kind girl for the Weenie, but at previous concerts, you can really experience that pleasure. Everything ends with the mandatory 'Death to All But Metal’
This is an obligatory item for true fans. It is worth returning to
this record, at least to look at Lexxie, who we will not have the opportunity
to see anymore (Spyder is a good substitute though).
The whole show is available to watch online, but here you also get
additional materials and significantly better sound and image quality. Let's
not forget about the energy that the gentlemen had and still have. In summary,
it was a good show, but keep it out of the reach of children.
